Course Description

This one-year online training is an invitation to step into a circle of learning, practice, and community. Guided by Becoming What You Need, we will move chapter by chapter through the book and bring its teachings to life with somatic practices, conversations, and reflection.

Unlike a short course, this year-long journey gives you space to let the practices take root. You’ll have time to experiment in your daily life, return with new experiences, and grow steadily alongside others who share your commitment to compassion, resilience, and embodied presence.

Who This Is For

This program is for anyone who wants to make NVC a lived practice. Whether you are brand new to NVC or an experienced trainer, facilitator, counselor, coach, or educator, you’ll find tools here that deepen your capacity to connect with yourself, others, and the world around you.

• Tools to listen empathically even in tense or challenging conversations
• Practices to release stress and old patterns stored in the body
• A stronger connection to your core values and purpose
• A steady rhythm of practice that supports personal and relational growth
• Resources for building community and trust in your own circles

How It Works

• 24 live sessions on Zoom (90 minutes each; all recorded for replays)
• Simple somatic practices to carry into daily life
• Partner check-ins and small-group support between sessions
• A private online space to stay connected and share insights
• Occasional Q&A and office hours with David for added guidance

• Cost: $600 USD
• Scholarships & sliding scale available – reach out to explore options
